Playa Grande is located in the Municipality of Huamelula. The closest airport is Huatulco, 50 min. Also 50 minutes from Bahías de Huatulco, where the hotels, shopping centers, hospitals, markets, restaurants and marina are located. From the airport, take the Acapulco-Salina Cruz highway (200) towards Salina Cruz, for 47 km, until the deviation to Playa Grande (5 km of dirt road). The road is in excellent condition due to the maintenance of the Fonatur development and the connection to Salina Cruz. Transportation from the airport can be done by taxi from inside the airport, car rental, taxi on site immediately outside the airport, or arranged with the administration of El Palmar.
